mostly perennial flower, it is also called a Mum. Chrysanthemums come in a
variety of colors but primarily pink, red, white, yellow and orange.
Chrysanthemums symbolize cheerfulness, love, optimism, joy, honesty and good luck.
Chrysanthemums have been associated with the heart chakra and can be a reminder to keep an open heart.

Chrysanthemum petals can
also be sort of long and spidery, like the clipart picture below. I haven't had the
opportunity to draw one of those yet but I think they make strikingly beautiful tattoos.
